The role of the Royal Australian Army Educational Corps (RAAEC) is to shape education and training with frameworks and expertise to continually develop soldiers in their roles.
The Royal Australian Army Educational Corps is responsible for supporting Army through:
- command, leadership and management
- educational best practice
- training systems
- synthetic learning environments
- support for teaching English as a second language
- strategic education.
RAAEC is made up entirely of commissioned officers in the specialist service officer stream. Most RAAEC personnel are qualified teachers, however additional personnel have been recruited to support key specialist areas.
