The Australian Army Infantry Museum in Singleton, NSW will host a one-day exhibition featuring seven Victoria Cross medal groups. The display will also feature photographs and stories on the history of each award.
These medals will represent the largest gathering of Victoria Crosses on public display in Australia outside of the Australian War Memorial. The medals are part of collections held by the Australian Army Museums in Western Australia and New South Wales.
This exhibition is part of the School of Infantry Open Day on Saturday, 21 October 2023. The Open Day is in recognition of the School of Infantry marking 50 years based at Singleton.
