Australian Army personnel, vehicles and equipment from the 4th/19th Prince of Wales’s Light Horse Regiment will operate in and around Sale and Latchford Barracks in Bonegilla, Victoria, as part of training Exercise Arras Canter from 14th to 16th July 2023.
The community can expect to see soldiers on civilian roads and in public, and should not be alarmed if they see soldiers in uniform carrying rifles. The training activity will include bridge classification, route reconnaissance and vehicle check points. Only vehicles supporting the exercise will be stopped.
Local State Emergency Service and Country Fire Authority members will be supporting the activity.
