Australian Army personnel, vehicles and equipment from Adelaide will conduct training on the Murray Bridge Training Area from the 1st to the 31st August 2023.
The community can expect an increased presence of Australian Army personnel in the region and increased movement of military vehicles on and around the Murray Bridge Training Area.
Loud noises including small arms fire, and explosions may be heard on occasion outside the standard time of 0730h to 2300h. Illumination flares may also be used at various times. Red illumination flares will only be used in an emergency.
Unmanned Aerial Systems may be in use at various times over the Training Area.
This is a routine training activity and the community should not be alarmed.
The Australian Army appreciates the support of the community and recognises the traditional custodians of the land on which we operate, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
