Army training activity

Soldiers from the Army’s 1st Brigade will be practicing Battle Scenarios throughout Darwin and surrounds which may generate noise over the period 17th March to 29th March 2024. 

Activities will occur between the hours of 6:00pm to 05:00am each night. 

The community may see soldiers carrying weapons with blank ammunition and hear period blank ammunition firing, but there is no danger, and no cause for alarm. 

This training is vital in developing and maintaining the skills of the Australian Defence Force in providing world class military capability to the Government in defence of the nation.
