What a remarkable year it's been. I began the year by saying that 2023 was a year of opportunity, and so it has proven to be. But by no means has it been an easy year.
I'm incredibly proud of what you have all achieved, and as we look to the end of the year, I encourage you to pause and reflect on all your individual and collective achievements.

I’d like to also acknowledge that this year we mourn the tragic loss of a number of our mates. And as families come together this Christmas, I know it will be a difficult time for some.
Please look out for each other, I have great confidence that you and your teams will continue to embrace the opportunities and meet the challenges that lay ahead of us. Many of you will be working over the Christmas break or moving with your families, and I recognise the disruption that this may cause.
Thank you for your patience and for your commitment. Above all, stay safe, enjoy some time with family and friends.
