Good Soldiering is how well we translate our values into how we think, and what we say and do every day. We train hard to meet the physical, intellectual and moral demands of land combat. We are compassionate and courageous in the face of war. The building of trust is our main effort. We are not just soldiers, we are ‘good soldiers’.

Army’s soldiers have a solemn obligation to the nation. Their contract with Australia states:
