Family members are encouraged to register using the form below even if they are not the most direct relative or another relative has already registered. This helps Army in reaching out to family for notifications, funerals, and ceremonial activities. The contact information is also useful when DNA samples are required for identification.
Registering families must check their relative's service record on the National Archives of Australia website (if digitised) for accurate information. They must also check the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website. The names of missing soldiers are recorded on a memorial, whereas recovered/found soldiers record the name of the cemetary and the plot number where they are buried.
